Head Start Child and Family Services, Inc. is a private, non-profit, single-purpose agency that has been in operation since October 1, 1980. The agency is currently funded to serve 159 Head Start Children, 96 Early Head Start children, and 5 pregnant mothers. Head Start Child and Family Services, Inc. currently operates 3 full-year Head Start classrooms and 12 full-year Early Head Start classrooms for the benefit of working families. Our agency also currently operates 6 part-year Head Start classrooms for families who may be unemployed or who are working or going to school part-time.
Head Start Child and Family Services, Inc. provides 178 part-day classroom days per year, 7 hours per day; 245 full year classroom days per year; highly qualified teaching staff; staff to provide social services, nutrition services, health services, mental health and disabilities services; and parent involvement opportunities for children and families.
- All centers are rated at the highest level in the Arkansas Early Childhood Quality Rating called Better Beginnings.
- All centers are NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited.
